The organization consists of 8 Solution Areas that support and mirror the Range & Supply processes as part of the IKEA Ways of Working-map, including a number of staff functions such as Architecture, Business Development, Business Navigation, HR/Competence and Communication.

Business Solutions Range & Supply consists of approximately 230 co-workers based in different legal units globally all across Range & Supply. We have our main hubs in Älmhult, Helsingborg and Malmö (IKEA of Sweden AB), Dortmund (Distribution Services GmbH), Pratteln (IKEA Supply AG) and Warsaw (IKEA Purchasing Services Poland), and we are also present in the United States, Italy, France, Turkey, India, and the Czech Republic.

Solution Area Food
The Solution Area supports the unique process needs found within the area of IKEA Food. A number of solutions within Range & Supply have been established to support the IKEA Food business and the integration into the totality of the IKEA context and our common solutions.

Solution Area Food owns the PLM and ERP solutionssupporting product development, product information management and the activity to plan the assortment for the markets.

The required BA will be a part of the team managing the PLM solution, internally named iFood, Based on the Infor Optiva platform.

The users of the solutions are based in IKEA Food Services and across the Service Offices within the Retail-organization globally.

The Assignment
The Business Analyst (BA) should identify, document and manage all business requirements for a solution, so that the solution meets the needs and expectations of the users, and other internal or external stakeholders. Enables IKEA people to articulate needs and the rationale for change and describe the solutions that can deliver value.

·  Requirements Management & Solution Evaluation
·  Identify improvements by elicit, analyse, challenge and document (e.g. business requirements, use cases, user stories, test cases & acceptance criteria, boundary conditions) all stakeholder needs and detailed business requirements. For a technical service this includes functional and non-functional requirements.
·  Facilitate the identification and elaboration of feasible business solutions for process, organization and service with business modelling while managing expectations among the stakeholders.
·  Validate compliance of business requirements through the Service Validation/Test & Configuration Management processes execution by the IT vendors, review test results, follow-up and steer on defined test
·  Contribute to the creation of solution documentation in co-operation with process/business teams and IT vendors. Contribute to the creation of the ‘learning offer' for the solution including training materials and delivery of training.
·  Challenge and assure quality of stakeholder needs, business requirements and solution alternatives in order to identify consequences and reduce risks. Support solution evaluation with identified business requirements.
·  Support for Design Activities, Validation/Test & Configuration Management
·  Support project management in setting up a business analysis approach appropriate for the chosen project approach. Support Business Architects in the creation of business blueprint and managing dependencies relating to processes, information and solutions.
·  Support with definition and validation of high level & low level design for business development activities (project and releases) in cooperation with the Solution Architect and vendor resources.
·  Contribute to the creation of solution documentation & training in co-operation with process/business teams and IT vendors.

The Right Candidate
To be successful in this role we think that you have:

·  Strong analytical skills. You will be able to structure information and derive conclusions and consequences out of them.
·  Ability to take own initiatives, are result driven and have leadership capabilities .
·  Solid knowledge and experience in business analysis, requirements engineering process.
·  Good knowledge of test methods and tools with focus on acceptance testing and good understanding of unit, system, integration testing.
·  Knowledge of general IT frames e.g. standards, infrastructure and platforms, frameworks, development concepts and processes.
·  Good communication skills in both written and spoken English. Good at facilitating, planning and managing workshops and activities.
·  Willingness to always strive for improvement and to have great motivation to learn new things.
·  You have probably a relevant degree in engineering or similar. Previous experience working with PLM is an advantage.
