For our branch office in Hofheim-Wallau, we are looking for 3 Business Analysts (f/m) for our Business Solution Area „Provide IKEA with Talent / Pay the Co-Worker“.
About the job
As a Business Analyst (f/m) you will work closely with the IKEA user community and our vendors to realise the future improvements of existing and new IT solutions. You should identify, document and manage all business requirements for a solution, so that the solution meets the needs and expectations of the users and other internal or external stakeholders. You enable the IKEA staff to articulate needs and the rationale for change, and describe the solutions that can deliver value.
You work in exciting multinational projects (e.g. Kronos rollout) and/or support line organisation.
Your assignment
· Requirements Management & Solution Evaluation.
· Identify improvements by eliciting, analysing, challenging and documenting all stakeholder needs and detailed business requirements (e.g. use cases, user stories, test cases & acceptance criteria, boundary conditions). For a technical service this includes functional and non-functional requirements.
· Facilitate the identification and elaboration of feasible business solutions for process, organization and service with business modelling while managing expectations among the stakeholders.
· Challenge and assure quality of stakeholder needs, business requirements and solution alternatives in order to identify consequences and reduce risks. Support solution evaluation with identified business requirements. Support for Design Activities, Validation/Test & Configuration Management Support.
· Support project management in setting up a business analysis approach that is appropriate for the chosen project approach. Support the business architect in creation of business blueprint and managing dependencies relating to processes, information and solutions.
· Contribute to definition and validation of high- & low-level design for business development activities (project & releases) in cooperation with the solution architect and vendor resources.
· Validate compliance of business requirements through the Service Validation/Test & Configuration Management process execution by the IT vendors, review test results, follow up on and steer defined test KPIs/metrics. Support BAT, UAT planning, preparation & execution, including test case definition and drive acceptance.
· Support Service Transition, Running Operations, LCM, Documentation.
· Support Service Transition activities in relation to new business development activities (projects & releases), including dependencies and handover to Operations. Support and provide expertise to secure the daily operation of the solution when needed. Support in defining expected service levels.
· Contribute to the creation of solution documentation in cooperation with process/business teams and IT vendors. Contribute to the creation of the „learning offer“ for the solution including training materials and delivery of training.
· Provide inputs for solution area business continuity plan.
· Cross-functional support.
· Support interactions with process and business teams, Operations & Shared Services, Architecture, Information Security, Local IT, Information Management teams.
Your profile
Your knowledge, skills and experience:
· Good understanding of Staff Planning and Timekeeping tools (preferably Kronos)
· Good knowledge of the relevant Human Resources business process
· Solid knowledge and experience in business analysis, requirements engineering and configuration management
· Good at facilitating, planning and managing workshops and activities
· Good knowledge within the assigned solution area, its roadmap, lifecycle management as well as the IT solution/platform
· Good knowledge of test methods and tools with focus on acceptance testing and good understanding of unit, system, integration testing
· Knowledge of general IT frames e.g. standards, infrastructure and platforms, frameworks, development concepts and processes
· Experience in SAP HR (e.g. authorisation, ESS/MSS, OM, PA, PY) and system integration are beneficial
· Solid understanding of project and software lifecycle management
· Solid understanding of technology & architectural aspects of the solutions as well as implemented functionality
· Steering according to processes and methods for developing, integrating and building IT system
· Experience in Service and Change Management tools (BMC Remedy, IBM Rational ClearQuest)
· Very good English and good German language skills (written and spoken); further language skills preferred
· Strong ability to communicate, drive business, lead change and co-operation
· Very good interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish good relationships
· Flexibility regarding new topics, quick understanding of new demands including technical and stakeholder-related topics
· Highly motivated to take responsibility and prepare decision-making under complex circumstances
