• Expert knowledge of prerequisites for local life at home/work
• Expert knowledge of all aspects of interior design, (e.g. functionality, space, layout, ergonomics, architecture, style, materials, sustainability etc) with special focus on local societal trends
• Extensive knowledge of how to train and coach senior and/or expert Interior Designers
• Expert knowledge of IKEA product range
• Excellent knowledge of how personal performance is measured and how it contributes to the business goals
• Expert knowledge of IKEA tone of voice as well as of interior design the IKEA way
• Strong knowledge of selling techniques and sales steering     
• Passion for meeting customers, understanding their needs and to build on that to offer complete interior design solutions
• Driven by challenging existing ways of working and finding new solutions in order to reach and exceed the goals
• Passionate about interior design and finding ways to exceed expectations and improve people’s life at home
• Strong ability to combine commercial, aesthetic and functional skills
• Strong ability to understand and build on customer needs to proactively offer creative complete interior design solutions that exceed customer expectation
• Strong ability to evaluate, develop and improve processes, digital tools and working methods within interior design
• Ability to coach, share knowledge and evaluate performance as an integrated part of the daily RCMP operation in a trustful way

For this role we believe you have a formal qualification in Interior Design or equivalent, a minimum 3 years of experience of interior design working with both B2C and B2B and am minimum 2 years of experience of coaching and training senior/expert co-workers. You also have a good English level.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will:
• Drive performance optimization within the area of interior design to maximize customer satisfaction and business growth
• Share knowledge, skills and ways of working to enable Interior Designers to create relevant, functional, aesthetic, commercial and tailormade furnishing solutions that exceed customer expectations and reflect interior design the IKEA way
• Stay up to date and knowledgeable about interior design trends, specific needs for different customer segments and competitors, and share this knowledge in order to secure a high and consistent level of competence among Interior Designers
• Evaluate skill performance and suggest improvement areas and via Remote Team Leaders enable Interior Designers to work on potentials and build on strengths, thus contributing to reaching individual and team goals
• Carry out local learning delivery, as well as review and validate the content of learning offers in order to secure local relevance and a high level of competence among Interior Designers
• Collaborate with, and provide feedback to, multiple stakeholders across Ingka connected to the area of expertise, to be able to update Interior Designers on range changes, updates in digital tools and commercial activities, and to secure that Remote Customer Meeting Point (RCMP) perspectives continuously influence relevant processes, digital tool development and are represented in all relevant forums
• Secure, in collaboration with Knowledge Specialists, that content connected to the area of expertise is communicated in a qualitative and accurate way in order to ensure Interior Designers get all context needed to serve customers in the best possible way
• Ensure collaboration with Experience Design team and contribute with guidance on detailed steering of ongoing initiatives in connection to the area of expertise in order to ensure that the quality of the outcome matches the expectations
• Regularly provide complete interior design solutions to remote customer (through all remote channels, including live video calls) to develop and keep own expertise up to date as well as to maintain customer focus and communication skills
• Adhere to most up to date ways of working for digital solutions to secure smooth operation of internal processes thus optimizing the customer experience
