IKEA Dublin are looking for a Food Production Specialist Chef to help us deliver a taste of Sweden and a great customer experience with high quality, sustainable food. You will contribute to a passionate and friendly team working in a fast-paced and safe environment to deliver a better everyday life for the many.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for people, an eagerness to learn and will embrace change with a solution-orientated approach to the many challenges and tasks that present themselves. You will have the ambition to grow within IKEA and to help to develop others too. We are looking for someone who:
• Is service minded, sales driven and feel motivated working in a vibrant retail and food environment.
• Is self-reliant and self-motivated with a proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independent
• Is passionate about ensuring that the food served is of the highest quality at all times
• Has an interest & knowledge of food
• Has a passion and desire to provide an excellent customer experience
Previous food operations experience is essential
CONTRACT INFORMATION
39 hours - 5 days over 7, alternate weekends working between the hours of 7.00 am - 21.00 pm.
Contract type: permanent
Salary - €30000

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN IKEA FOOD PRODUCTION SPECIALIST (CHEF)

Within kitchen operations we have various roles which include:
• Cold side plate and cake production and preparation
• Hot food production and preparation
• Dish – KP duties
• Working in the Bistro
• Counter service and delivering excellent food quality in line with food safety policies.
