We expect that all applicants have previous management experience, ideally with a background in Sales.

• You have experience of setting and implementing action plans and budgets, and following up goals.
• You are able to lead, motivate, and engage with your team.
• You have the ability to develop knowledge of the local market and business conditions quickly and take commercial decisions based on this information.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
• Optimising sales and profitability by encouraging your team to take fast action on commercial opportunities and act on customer feedback, competition, supply, and performance analyses.
• Knowing the local market potential and working with your team and other store functions to plan and implement commercial activities that increase sales.
• Working through the team, and with the support of other functions, to present the width and depth of the IKEA range in order to satisfy and inspire visitors.
• Ensuring the store is in excellent shape with fully stocked sales spaces at all times.

YOUR PROFILE
Your knowledge, skills and experience include:
· At least 3 years of work experience in a fast-paced retail or logistics environment with a desire to ensure operational efficiency.
· Have the knowledge of setting and implementing action plans and providing clear direction and following up on goals.
· Show potential in applying tactical and operational thinking to the total customer experience.
· Ability to build trust and communicate in a clear and targeted way with different people in various situations.
· Ability to work during early and the late hours of the day.
