Job description

Reporting directly to the Replenishment and Fulfilment Manager, the Goods Receiving Flow Team Manager is responsible for optimising and the development of the inbound operations to maximise the stores logistical performance with cost consciousness at the forefront. They will ensure the preconditions for effective and efficient inflow processes are in place with a customer centric focus on availability and excellence in execution.

·  Lead the store inbound team and work with the store commercial team to always plan and secure the highest goods availability at the lowest possible total cost.
·  Work closely with the Replenishment and Fulfilment units to ensure efficient operations to be able to secure highest availability to guarantee a great customer shopping experience, including commercial looking sales locations, product quality and stock accuracy.
·  Work closely with the Replenishment and Fulfilment units to maximise efficient logistics operations with a focus on inbound processes. As well, plan for future needs by considering space, equipment and people as part of the store capacity plan.
·  Ensure that the inbound team works in compliance with the internal IKEA regulations and local legislation relating to health, safety, security, and the environment.
·  Identify, recruit, retain and develop the talents in the inbound team, to secure a diverse and competent team that can execute it’s assigned responsibilities with confidence and secure future succession.
Qualification

·  Must be available to work overnight shifts (for example, 10:00pm to 7:00am) and weekends on rotating roster of 5 work days per week.
·  Specialised in retail space management, you have strong passion in retail Supply Chain and operational excellence in order to contribute to the Retail Logistics business within your area of responsibility.
·  Demonstrate an ability to multitask and make conscious decisions in unexpected situations.
·  Demonstrate a motivation for change and improvement.
·  Have a willingness to develop as an individual and support others development.
·  Understanding of how to track KPI’s and make strategic decisions based on results.
·  Strong in interpersonal skills, you are able to establish and maintain effective work relationships with cross-departmental colleagues. MS Office proficiency and communication skills are a must.
·  Experience in retail, goods flow and supply chain will be highly preferable.
