Who you are

• For this role you should have a university degree in preferred Logistics, Economics, business administration or 1-2 years’ experience in area or expertise
• You are a confident and clear communicator in English and have proven analytical and numeric skills and the ability to identify required actions
• You bring with you excellent computer skills and high proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience in problem solving and improving ways of working
• You have a natural interest in Retail/home furnishing/supply chain/customer service experience
• You have knowledge in the following areas:

o IKEA business model and ways of working
o Knowledge of IKEA processes and service business leading to an excellent customer fulfilment
o Excellent understanding of processes on the area of expertise
o Understanding of the customer needs, demands and expectations on the market
o Market/industry intelligence: understanding of KPIs used for success measures for own function
o Excellent knowledge of relevant IT systems/solutions/tools within service business

• As a person you have a good collaborative mind-set in building relationships within the organisation with ability to influence others within the own area of expertise by using communication skills
• You have high organisational skills and ability to work in a structured way and the ability to respond to business and customer needs by providing effective solutions within the area of expertise
• You have a natural focus on quality and the capability to complete the work according to procedures and quality standards in timely manner
• You use your end-to-end orientation to apply analytical process oriented thinking when acting and propose solutions

A day in your life with us

Service Fulfilment Operations is a department at Customer Fulfilment and is responsible for the execution of essential customer services such as truck or parcel deliveries as well as kitchen installations. The purpose of the role is to take responsibility for supporting the Customer Fulfilment Organization, in particular the Service Fulfilment Operations Developers working on fulfilment projects as part of the OCN Roadmap. Together, you will ensure a high-performance organization in the future service fulfillment network by working with IT solutions, developing tools, creating calculations and, above all, various analyses, including:
• Operational excellence
• Efficiency and continuous improvement
• Short- and medium-term capacities
• Cost development and contribution to the cost target
• Evolution of lead time
• Sustainability
You will contribute to the development of the Service Fulfillment organization with a customer-centric and collaborative approach in focus and focus on delivering results with a sense of urgency, meeting and exceeding qualitative goals and achieving greater efficiency in daily tasks. In this role, you will also provide expertise and advice to managers and colleagues within Service Fulfillment processes, contributing to the development of the company and people, implementing, evaluating and contributing to the development and updating of standards, policies and guidelines within your own area of expertise. The role requires fluency in German and English.
With focus on our expansion project you are:
• Responsible for generating performance reports from IT solutions to enable high-performance daily and future operations and an efficient distribution network
• Responsible for ensuring operational and quality excellence in the context of service fulfillment in the market
• Contribute to the short-, medium- and long-term development of existing service partners through training in relevant IT solutions
• Responsible for ensuring accurate reporting of service capacity, costs, processes and operations through efficient and accurate matching of all existing data and related analytics
• Contribute to ensuring efficiency and implementing improvements in the market
• Contribute with knowledge and know-how to optimal omnichannel development and tendering activities, as well as to all matrices, global initiatives and competence networks. Contribution to the implementation of the Customer Fulfilment sustainability agenda for Service Fulfilment

This job is located in our Service Office/ Head Office of IKEA Germany in Hofheim-Wallau between Wiesbaden and Frankfurt am Main.
