• 1-2 years of warehouse experience or strong knowledge of systems.
• Computer literate with knowledge of MS Excel, MS Outlook
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• A clear understanding of, and a passion for IKEA values and principles.
• Ability to interact with all levels both internal and external to the Distribution Center
• Proven decision-making skills with ability to weigh both service and cost in decision making
• Responsible, self-motivated individual with a strong sense of urgency
• Be a dynamic, action-oriented team player that is self-motivated and confident in making independent decisions
What you'll be doing day to day
• Ensure all article and range administration data is current and accurate.
• Communicate with external partners to ensure we are prepared for various range & capacity projects and changes.
• Communicate with all levels of the organization regarding issues related to Article administration, Capacity and Mapping.
• Analyze and adapt to the inbound and outbound development/flow throughout the year.
• Act as early warning system, identify possible risks and initiate corrective actions.
• Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as assigned
