We are looking to welcome a food stores person to join our delightful Restaurant & Kitchen team at Warrington IKEA. You will be supporting our Team Leader with deliveries, stock taking, cleaning schedules & ordering.
In the IKEA world, we call this position a Food & Beverage Co-worker.
Due to Health & Safety regulations, applicants must be over the age of 18.
Expected Starting Date: October 2023
WHAT WE OFFER
• £10.90 hourly rate
• Living Wage Foundation Employer
• 20 hours weekly, working 4 days out of 7, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend working.
• Operational hours are between 6am & 4pm.
• Flexibility on availability to be discussed during interviews

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
Are you a team player with a passion for food and people? Do you know your meat ball from your plant ball? If so, then we are looking for you.
We are looking for someone like you to help us deliver a taste of Sweden and a great customer experience with high quality, sustainable food. You will contribute to a passionate and friendly team to deliver a better everyday life for the many, while embracing change with a solution-orientated mindset. This is an extremely fast paced working environment and requires you to multitask and deliver an essential supportive role to the production and commercial areas of the business which will involve regular heavy lifting and maintaining a clean hygienic environment.
Competent with using IT to carry out daily duties.
Prior experience in food is desirable but not essential, if you have a roll up your sleeve mindset to the various tasks & challenges that present themselves, we want you!
Prior experience in supporting the running of the food store. This includes orders & deliveries, stock taking, cleaning schedules, health & safety checks.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

• As a Food Co-worker, you will report to one of the Food Managers or Team Leaders and work alongside them in the kitchen help to create a safe, healthy, delicious, sustainable, affordable, and joyful food experience for both the customer and the co-worker.
• Store Assistant - taking stock counts, supporting the food deliveries and placing orders, cleaning schedules & completion of these duties, health & safety checks. You will be working alongside the Food Manager & Team Leader to carry out these duties.
