Together with colleagues all over the world we work to identify and understand all kinds of needs related to IKEA operations (indirect Material & Services). Together with our suppliers we meet those needs innovatively, cost-effectively and with sustainability built in from the start. We secure a high-performing supplier base that can contribute to and grow together with IKEA in the future. Our ambition is to develop meaningful and better procurement.
•You have 2-5 years professional experience in purchasing or a completed education (in the technical and commercial area) with completed further trainings in purchasing.
•You have knowledge in sourcing and procurement practices and related processes
•You are a strong communicator with good negotiation skills, who values the urgency and importance of the work.
•You have in-depth knowledge of methods and processes in project management, supplier management and supplier development.
•You have an affinity for numbers and strong knowledge of cost drivers
•You are very detail-oriented, when needed but always having the bigger picture in mind.
•You are interested and eager to find common interests and goals, to build trust and partnership to achieve common goals.
•You are fluent in English and German, both written and verbal.
•You have experience in SAP procurement tools such as ARIBA/S4Hana is an asset.
A day in your life with us
•Build and maintain trustful relationships with business owners to align plans and drive performance and results.
•Execute sourcing projects according to the Source-to-Pay process and SAP Ariba, ensuring a strategic and professional approach to sourcing, using excellent negotiation skills to optimize and drive out costs and consider the end user for effective call off options as well as optimal invoicing channel.
•Responsible to drive supplier management and supplier performance securing compliance.
•Deliver business priorities by collaboration with colleagues across departments as one cross-functional team.
•Ensure added value and relevant solutions to meet customers' needs.
•Responsible to drive supplier selections, build excellent supplier relations and together with the IKEA team you will secure the best buy for IKEA.
