For this role we believe you should have a passion for driving the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDnI), and the Health & Wellbeing (H&W) topics for IKEA India. Strong leadership experience in strategizing, project planning and leading the projects and initiatives is essential. This is an individual contributor role and requires strong experience in stakeholder management, networking and influencing decision makers.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in strategizing Health and Wellbeing initiatives and 1.5 years in implementation of H&W related initiatives.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in leading Equality, Diversity & Inclusion domain
• Strategic thinking, project planning, ability to develop & lead country strategy.
• A go getter who can work while working as an individual contributor is able to create the network on enthusiastic ambassadors for deeper penetration of strategic plan into implementation.
• Knowledge of country and local legislations in relation to the respective topics under ED&I and H&W

Your responsibilities

• Serve as the country ED&I leader to liaise with the Group center of expertise in bringing the global initiatives to the country.
• Localizing the program/initiatives rollout as needed and responsible for implementation and uptake of country level initiatives by the units.
• Influences the consideration and the integration of EDnI topics into the business.
• Works as the country contact for all aspects related to EDnI.
• Meet with the coworkers in units at periodic intervals to understand the penetration of EDnI topics in the country, gather feedback and reflections for country/unit level action planning.
• Gauge and analyze the country position on EDnI topics and proactively plans for support in conjunction with Group ED&I.
• Adapts supporting materials to local needs, including the EDnI approach toolkit and supports specific dimensions of the respective topics in the country.
• Keep a window for liaising with the industry partners.

Health & wellbeing

• Strategize the H&W initiatives at the country level as per the need gathered from all units.
• Localizing the plan rollout as needed and responsible for implementation and uptake within the country.
• Use knowledge from country and local legislations regarding H&W
• Works as the country contact for all aspects related to H&W.
• Meet with the coworkers in units at periodic intervals to understand the penetration of H&W topics in the country, gather feedback and reflections for country/unit level action planning.
• Adapts supporting materials to local needs, including the H&W approach toolkit and supports specific dimensions of the respective topics in the country.
• Partners with Total Rewards team to devise innovative and meaningful workplace wellbeing strategy, programs, and initiatives.
• Localizes templates that can be used in units around wellbeing program.
• Measures coworkers’ wellbeing using data and analytics to increase overall health and wellbeing of workforce.
• Collaborates with Group People & Culture team to design and propose Health and safety policies that increase health and wellbeing.
• Acts as primary point of contact for health and wellbeing services and offerings and coordinates on-site wellbeing events/activities for all units.
• Coordinates the implementation and internal communication of wellbeing programs.
