Our ideal candidate already has 2 years leadership experience or is ready for their next step. You are assertive, a people person and can work with a team to drive business direction and accurately follow up to ensure tasks are completed. A food background isn't essential, but fast paced and organised is a must.
Expected Starting Date: To be discussed with recruiting Manager
You lead by example and live the IKEA values. Food is your passion, and you are currently fully available across the week and weekends.
WHAT WE OFFER
• £25,600 per annum
39 hours per week working 5 days a week, alternative weekends off.
We operate 7 days a week to meet the shopping needs of our customers
Due to Health & Safety regulations, applicants must be over the age of 18.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As a Food Team Leader, you will work with your team to create a safe, healthy, sustainable, and joyful food experience for both the customer and the co-worker.
• You will be responsible for ensuring your area of responsibility is clean, attractive, and inviting. You also ensure our products are always in perfect condition and correctly priced.
• Being passionate about the food we serve and sell, and actively learn about it and share your knowledge with customers and colleagues.
• You contribute and support the implementation of the store Business Plan and IKEA Food action plan.
• Promoting a safety-first culture, as well as coach others in ensuring routines and requirements are known and followed in all daily work.
