Our team in Reading are looking for a new In-Store Logistics Manager to manage our store supply chain. This is an exciting role for someone with demonstrable experience in a leadership role and a passion for all things 'logistics'!
WHAT WE OFFER
• Starting salary of £42,000 per annum, which can be discussed at interview.
• Permanent contract working 39 hours a week, working 4/5 days over 7 with every 2nd weekend off.. We would consider part time/job share hours for this role.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
You are an experienced leader with around 3 years experience in leading a team, ideally from a retail logistics environment and have an energetic, values-driven leadership style. You are able to create a supportive and collaborative work environment whilst still maintaining a strong focus on health and safety and compliance.
• You will possess superb analytical skills to understand budget, cost and key performance measurements used to plan, follow up and steer the business.
• You have a proven record of communicating confidently and clearly and experience of working through others, setting priorities, delegating responsibilities and giving open and honest feedback.
• You possess a proven ability to inspire and engage others, and can proactively and confidently lead in a changing environment.
• You have experience of applying tactical and operational thinking, and of implementing action plans, providing clear direction and following up goals.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As a member of Store Management team and together with the Country Store Fulfilment Operations team, you will lead and develop the Store Business agenda.
• Creating the store’s business plan based on global and national priorities, and local market needs together with your colleagues as a member of the store management group.
• Have a passion to lead and grow the omnichannel fulfillment operations, through our new services click and collect and click and deliver.
• Using strategic directions and business plan goals to develop and implement a clear logistics plan for your store with your logistics team. You ensure this plan is clearly understood by your team and that they know how they can actively contribute to achieving its goals.
• Sharing your specialist know-how with your commercial team partners and other functions, such as ordering, space and capacity planning, physical goods flow, supporting product change activities and replenishing sales spaces in a cost-efficient way in order to secure an exciting and inspiring customer shopping experience.
• Empowering your team by delegating responsibility to help them grow and develop, according to their individual ability and experience.
