We are looking to welcome you to join our fantastic Customer Services team based in our Leeds store. These positions are permanent, part-time roles.

In the IKEA world, we call this position a Customer Relations Co-Worker.

Expected Starting Date: 16th of September 2023

WHAT WE OFFER
• £10.90 hourly rate.
• Living Wage Foundation Employer.
• 20 hours weekly, working 4 days over 7 and 3 out of 4 weekends
• 24 hour contract working 5 days out of 7 and 3 out of 4 weekends.
• Working early mornings, afternoons and late evenings. Shifts between 9:30am - 9:30pm.

We operate 7 days a week to meet the shopping needs of our customers, this role will require availability to work during the day, late evenings, and full weekends.
We offer permanent contracts and advanced scheduling.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
We are looking for co-workers who strive to give an amazing customer shopping experience; co-workers that always put the customer at the heart of everything they do and inspire others to do the same. They are passionate about ensuring that IKEA has a lifelong connection with their customers by always considering their needs.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
This role is varied with no two days being the same; one minute you could be on checkouts and the next minute, you could be meeting and greeting our customers and assisting customers with returns, click & collect and processing home deliveries. This role includes some manual handling.

• You aim to create a positive experience for our customers, so they will want to return and shop with us again over time.
• Build loyalty by listening to our customers and using your knowledge of the IKEA product range to offer informed solutions.
• You work together with colleagues in other functions to improve the customer experience.
• Provide an efficient and accurate checkout experience in the store while working with daily and weekly service targets to drive service delivery.
• Supporting customers with returns, click & collect and processing home deliveries.
