Job description
WHO YOU ARE
1.Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master Degree in economics, statistics, maths, engineering, natural sciences or related majors is preferred. Part-time interns who can commit at least 3 working days a week .Internship should last for more than 3 months;
2.Good command of SQL for data processing and analysis
3. Good command of programming languages (e.g. Python, Java), including concepts from functional and object-oriented programming paradigms
4. Good knowledge of data mining techniques, including regression, tree model, neural network, NLP
5.Nice to have knowledge of Operation research theory, including linear programming models, non - linear programming. Be familiar with the OR use cases, including resource allocation, transportation problems, assignment model
6.Good interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate, network, and build strong relations with team members and stakeholders
7.Fluent spoken and written English, CET6 is required. Need to adapt to the English working environment;
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide business insights by conducting descriptive analysis, modern data mining techniques and visualization tools to help business stakeholders make better decisions
2. Build machine learning algorithms to support the forecasting, prediction, segmentation, and recommendation for IKEA business
3. Build operation research algorithms to support IKEA logistic operations
