Job description
Supporting the store in key financial areas, securing better financial control and compliance, with a high focus on commercial priorities. Providing finance and administrative support, cost reconciliation, and high accuracy level of reporting. Steering the business towards sustained long term profitability by being driven by the IKEA business idea, culture and values.
Responsibilities of the Job:
· Monitor and update daily sales figures for Store and IFB, explain variance in performance and communication to co-workers via Sales Board.
· Provide regular updates to Store business analyst in order to ensure accurate and timely accounting information it is provided for financial reporting.
· They would not be reviewing gaps but securing an accurate and timely update of the reconciliation and accounting information to secure that the Business Analyst would do this.
· Coordinate on common store purchases, custodian of Purchase ordering process and overall store administration.
· Ensure act and alignment within rules and guidelines as part of store operating process.
· Liaison between store, providers and SO finance for all invoicing processes.
· Responsible for invoice management and ensure expense coding is timely and accurate according published / current guideline. Perform reconciliations vs actuals in a monthly basis.
· Monitor and ensure store expenses are in line with budget goals and to highlight deviations and potentials by close communication with business areas.
· Evaluate supplier quotations and cost review comparisons, and perform periodic review on contract management.
· Highlight irregular spending and identify improvement measures.
· Coordinate on store Just Login user creation, deactivation for resigned co-workers, and purchase requisition controls.
· Assist in preparation of monthly reports in relation to store finance functions.
· Comply with financial and commercial audit requirements by internal/external auditors and follow-up with implementation.
· Responsible for the cash reconciliation for the store and IF.

Knowledge
· Degree in Business/Finance or related.
· Accounting principle´s IFR.
· Good overview of customer experience processes.
· High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications – Specially excel.
· Knowledge of ERP.
· Ability to read and write in English.
· Previous experience working at retail industry (desirable).

· Previous experience in basic financial role with proven analytical and numerical skills.

· Good time management / Quick understanding of the financial processes.
· Sound business knowledge with a commercial mind.
· Initiative and enthusiastic in supporting store operations within tight deadlines.
· Analytical and structured following the processes.
