Job description
WHO YOU ARE
• Basic knowledge of IKEA Supply Chain and Quality systems
• Two years of quality (technical/craftsmen background) experience, including technical skills needed for local article inspections.
• Good command of English and fluent in local language
• Self driven, systematic, communicative and well organized person
• Service and quality oriented; willing to work on site in a warehouse environment
• Service and customer oriented
• Flexible, able to work with a variety of tasks under stress
• PC proficiency
• Works well independently and with excellent problem solving skills
• Customer oriented way of thinking
• Ability to organize, coordinate and supervise activities
A DAY IN YOUR LIFE WITH US
• Be the main interface between the DC and DS Quality Support Centre (QSC)
• Apply all valid IKEA rules and working method and ensure different tasks are carried out according to agreed timeframes and deadlines.
• Execute the goals and action plan of the DC as they relate to Quality:
Supply Quality
• Register and document inbound deviations, communicate all necessary documentation and information to the QSC thru CASY system.
• Support the DC inbound teams with training and guidance on receiving deviations.
Product Quality
• Monitor CASY technician queue and carry out Product Quality investigations as per instructions received from QSC and following valid IKEA documentations.
• Document Product Quality investigations and report results to QSC thru CASY system.
• Organize and supervise repair activities in the DC.
• Other ad hoc tasks assigned.
