About you
We believe you are an experienced accounting assistant with experience from an international environment. You take pride in being accurate, thorough and able to complete your tasks efficiently. Furthermore we want you to have following skills and capabilities:

·  Applied knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in Sweden.

·  Some years of experience from financial administration such as ledger administration, reconciliations, accounting, tax and VAT.

·  Developed analytical and numerical skills.

·  Good knowledge of MS Excel and experience from working with financial systems like CODA, basware or equivalent.
To be successful in this role you need to have a strong business understanding and be able to prioritise your work. As a person you are positive and a good team player. You are open to new ways of working and you take part in challenging existing routines.

About the job
IKEA Range & Supply have recently re-incorporated the accounting function for IKEA of Sweden AB and a number of subsidiaries both in Sweden and in China, into the organisation of IKEA of Sweden. As accounting assistant you will be part of the Accounting function and responsible for the financial administration within IKEA of Sweden. You will report to your manager at IoS Accounting.

About the assignment
Your assignment is to support the business by taking care of all financial administration such as ledger administration. Your main focus areas are within the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes and include voucher entries, general ledger responsibility and reconciliation. Furthermore your main tasks will be:

·  Administer and support Accounting specialist with the bi-monthly closings and year end closing.
·  Execute all type of accounting administration such as ledger administrations, reconciliations, tax and VAT.
·  Review the trial balance and make necessary adjustments to correctly reflect accruals and provisions.
