We are looking for a organised & motivated Storeperson to join our Finance & Business Support team at Holiday Inn Sydney Airport.
Your day to day
As a Storeperson, you'll have ambition, talent and obviously, some key skills. Because, for this vital role, were looking for someone who can assist with the storing and organizing of all stored materials in line with all relevant policies and procedures and someone who will support the hotel operations and drive financial returns by ensuring correct receipt of all orders. Your day will be varied and includes;- Receiving and checking quality & quantity of goods received at the loading dock- Ordering items the Hotel may need as required- Processing invoices into e-Procurement system (Food Buy) on a daily basis - Reconciliation of suppliers statement on a monthly basis- Assist with monitoring of beverage & selected food stock levels- Assist with month-end and adhoc stocktakes in stores and restaurant outlets- Cleaning store areas and ensuring they are kept in an organised and neat manner
What we need from you
- A warm personality - to make our suppliers and team alike feel comfortable and trusted. - Great written and oral communication.- A proactive approach, being highly organised and motivated.- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise conflicting deadlines.- To maintain a high level of accuracy. - Experience in hotel operations is preferred but not essential - what is essential is to be passionate and ready to learn!
