We are now seeking motivated and dynamic professionals to join our team, that has some experience as a Tennis Coach.

Your day to day

Sports & Leisure Attendants who will assist our guests with non-motorised water sports and land based activities including Tennis, focussing on creating experiences and memories that will enhance their on island journey.

They will open the gateway to a magical, vibrant playground of extraordinary experiences and revitalising adventure. Whether it’s a romantic experience for two, a family adventure, team building journey or solo exploration, the all-new suite of experiences are as iconic as they are unforgettable; and adding a knowledgeable and worldly team who can bring the InterContinental Life alive throughout these activities is the last puzzle piece for the Resort’s delivery of rich and personal experiences. 

 

If you’re charismatic, approachable and know what it takes to exceed guest expectations, this is your opportunity to work in this unique environment and fast track your career. As a part time Sports & Leisure Attendant, your day to day will involve;

·  Instructing guests in the use of non-motorised water sports including catamarans, windsurfers, kayaks and stand up paddles.
·  Instructing and guiding guests in land based activities including nature walks, sports events, tennis and mountain bike tours.
·  Ensuring all equipment is well maintained and cleaned and reporting any defects, replacements, problems or maintenance requirements.
·  Daily set up and pack down of all non-motorised and land based equipment and activities.
·  Maximising opportunities to promote and upsell activities on island.
·  Assisting across the team as required.
What we need from you

Ideally, you will have 1-2 years of previous experience in a guest activities role or similar within a luxury setting and be passionate about creating unique experiences. With a preference to work outdoors alongside marine life and the natural environment your preference, your exposure to wider hotel and resort operations will be advantageous. With strong communication skills and the ability to think outside the box, you’re also physically fit and able to lift equipment and items as needed facilitate day to day activities.

Turning activities into unforgettable experiences will be your passion and exposure to working in other hotel or resort operational roles will be highly regarded.

You will need to hold you current first aid certificate, including oxygen and have the appropriate work rights to work within Australia alongside an open Australian driver’s license and be flexible to work weekends and evenings as required; commencing from mid November 2020.
