Your day to day
Join us as a Reservation Agent. You’ll have ambition, talent and obviously, some key skills. For this vital role, we’re looking for someone who will be responsible to: Manage telephone, fax and email inquiries in a prompt and professional manner and in accordance with brand standards ensuring accuracy and attention to detail at all timesUnderstand seasonal and historical trends and work within them to ensure maximum occupancy and average room rates Identify new contacts,Develop sales leads, and respond to sales opportunities in order to maximize revenue Produce quotations and written confirmation to all clientsMonitor guest satisfaction regularly and resolve any outstanding issues to ensure future business. Maintain a thorough understanding of hotel facilities and processes, and contribute to a culture of high-quality standards for relationship building, guest services, selling techniques, and billing and processing contracts.Ensure bookings are guaranteed and no-show charges late cancellation charges are applied where appropriate.
What we need from you
Qualifications:High level of passion, enthusiasm and drive for results.Previous experience in the Reservations department within the 4- or 5-star hotel is a must.Prove sales experience within the hotel leisure sector.Ambitious and eager to learn, grow and further develop own career.Bachelor's degree holder / higher education qualification / equivalent in hotel management or related field.Positive attitude and good communication skills.Commitment to delivering a high level of guest service.Proven track of a minimum 2 years’ experience.
