About us
Join us as an Guest Services Supervisor in Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium. We are looking for someone who are responsible for the operational efficiency of all front office areas during shift and the service delivery of those areas.
Your day to day
Job Description:Works with superior in the preparation and management of the department’s budget and is aware of financial targetsDrive departmental upselling results to maximize Hotel’s RevPAR and Total RevenueRecycles where-ever possible and enforces cost saving measures to staffSupervise cashiering activities during shift including:Cash handling and banking procedure, dealing with irregular paymentsSupervising Cashiering system, Instructing staff in credit policies and facilities, cash security proceduresConducts shift briefings to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known.Provide input for probation and formal performance appraisal discussions in line with company guidelinesSupervise front office operations during assigned shift including:Maintenance of guest information, Compile occupancy statisticsSupervise the use of the public address system, Supervise Group BookingsAssisting with serious complaintsDrive Department’s Heartbeat and IHG Rewards Club Recognition scored to ensure standards and targets are met.Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify supervisors of potential dangersLog security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements
What we need from you
Requirements:Diploma in Hospitality/Hotel Management with at least 2 years related experience in guest services/ hotel experiences.Preferably in a supervisory capacity.Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
