Your day to day

·  Support the team across internal campaigns with pulling together information from various sources, drafting communications plans and articles
·  Assist with making updates and publishing news articles to IHG internal channels including global intranet and 2X hub
·  Support team with pulling information together for Board reports and internal communications dashboard
·  Help create slides and graphics to support global announcements and campaigns, including image and b-roll sourcing
·  Assist with administrative duties as part of quarterly financial reporting and supporting internal content for annual reporting
·  Assist with proofing, reviewing copy and scheduling meetings for company’s annual Senior Leaders Meeting
·  Research and provide recommendations for engaging colleagues on various campaigns, including promoting social media use by colleagues
·  Assist with filming and/or editing videos
·  Manage team administration, keeping folders organised, supporting generating key internal content for leadership LinkedIn accounts, global communications & 2X mailboxes and Merlin & 2X hub comments
What we are looking for

Educational Attainment

·  Candidate should have completed or be in final year of Bachelor degree level in Humanities, Communications, English Language & Literature, Journalism or equivalent

Critical Expertise & Experience

·  Strong organisational skills
·  Strong writing skills, attention to detail
·  Creative approach and understanding of the communications field
·  Ability to work with and build relationships with colleagues at various levels across the organisation

Technical Skills & Knowledge

·  Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information
·  Demonstrated strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
·  Demonstrated clear, concise and succinct communication skills, including adapting both verbal and written communications to the needs and level of the user
·  Demonstrated ability to maintain a consistent, high-quality, customer-focused orientation, including providing clear, accurate information
·  A fast learner, with strong critical-thinking skills and demonstrated ability for taking initiative and finding solutions
