About Us

Holiday Inn express Canterbury is a 3 star hotel with a great reputation, It is a popular branded 89 bedroom property, that has recently had a £1m bedroom refurbishment, with an open lobby restaurant and bar. Additionally, we have 2 meetings rooms for conference and events.

Your day to day

The successful candidate is likely to have the following experience in

i)              a hands-on approach to repairs to fixtures & fittings & preventative maintenance on a day to day basis

ii)             completing of weekly and monthly compliance checks, water checks etc.

iii)            ensuring Hotel Health & Safety procedures are up to date

iv)            Completion of Periodical Risk Assessments

What we need from you

The successful candidate must possess

·         practical hands-on working experience of all aspects of maintenance,

·          Administration skills including Health & Safety record keeping

·         A good standards of IT skills, numeracy & literacy

It would be advantageous for the candidate to possess City & Guilds or NVQ L2 qualifications in Property Maintenance and ideally be First Aid qualified, however training will be provided if no current certificate in place
