About Us

Granite Hospitality, based in Scottsdale, AZ, is looking for a talented hotel Sales Manager to join the team at the new 128 room Holiday Inn Express & Suites Phoenix Airport North. 

Your day to day

Know your work schedule and follow it with a high degree of reliability.

Work in a cooperative and friendly manner with fellow associates.

Maintain professional attire and personal hygiene.

Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area.

Utilize protective equipment, when applicable.

Promptly report substandard (unsafe) conditions to supervisor.

Promptly report accidents, injuries, property damage or loss to supervisor.

Keep accurate communication flowing freely among all hotel departments.

Inform management promptly of any work-related problems or guest complaints.

Promote the hotel through goodwill, courtesy and a positive attitude.

Attend all scheduled training classes and meetings.

Train other associates as directed by management.

Continue to learn and grow in your position.

Arrange for reasonable accommodations for person(s) with disabilities.

What we need from you

Stock cart to ensure that enough cleaning needs, equipment and amenities are available to properly clean each room.

Observe knocking procedures announcing “housekeeping” prior to entering a guest room.

Thoroughly clean the guest rooms assigned and ensure the amenities are stocked for each cleaned room.  Complete entire housekeeping checklist.

Report clean rooms to supervisor for inspection.

Report any damages or hazards that are present in guest rooms to supervisor (i.e., burned out light bulbs, broken furniture, broken lights, etc.).  Immediately report any broken door locks to management.

Restock cart for next day.

Secure guest room doors upon exiting the room.

Keep the corridors and service areas neat at all times.

Turn in all lost and found items and all guest room and section keys.
