Our Hotel Indigo is a boutique 63 room hotel in the Birmingham, Alabama located at 5 Points South.

Your day to day
Assist General Manager on day to day responsibilities overseeing all operations of the hotel. Responsibilities include:
1. Payroll
2. New hiring
3. Controlling Costs and making sure all areas are in line with budget
4. Overseeing guests checking in and out and making sure stay is satisfactory
5. Making sure preventative maintenance is done with Maintenance Staff.
6. Answering any guest complaints and reviews online
7. IHG rewards billing
8. IHG training/conferences
9. Must be able to handle ALL tasks the General Manager currently does

1. Leadership skills and motivating staff to do their best.
2. Be able to handle complaints/problem areas with calm and ease. Must be able to handle pressure.
3. Attention to detail is a must!
4. We are looking for a driven leader who the staff can look up to.
5. Previous management role is a must!
