Your day to day

As the Events Coordinator you will manage the execution of corporate, wedding and social and internal events; which may include initial enquiry, quoting, follow-up, event management. You will successfully position the hotel to all potential clients and booked clients via site inspections, personalised proposals and in conversation. You will be responsible for event planning and management, and overseeing operational delivery to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

What we need from you

Experience Required:• Education – Bachelor’s Degree, higher education or equivalent in Hospitality or related field • Experience – 1+ years’ experience in a catering setting or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.• Previous experience in event coordination and planning is an advantageSkills:• Excellent communication skills, especially written and verbal • Ability to build and maintain rapport• Strong attention to detail• Excellent presentation• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment• Proficient in using computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)• Excellent time management and administration skills• Knowledge of CRM software is an advantage (but not essential)
