Your day to day

Job Summary – 

Manage and oversee the delivery of effective and efficient Operational Management to guarantee the achievement of key driver targets. Manage and develop performance of all sales systems to ensure KPO achievement. Analyze and identify trends in system performance and implement necessary action plans to maximize processes and efficiency for regional sales teams. Monitor, analyze, train and implement access systems for regions ensuring uninterrupted and accurate operations. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·  Serve as a key member of the Functional Operations team by serving as a subject matter expert on process improvement, as an operational representative on cross-functional initiatives, and as an expert on overarching account management principles.
·  Assist with the consistent review of current global accounts’ valuations, cost of service, and ultimate tiering and development of scalable, repeatable processes for examining the overall sales account portfolio.
·  Own the historical documentation of operationally-centric plans, details, and guides across the account tiering and crediting spaces.
·  Serve as a key liaison with other cross-functional teams to assist with operationalization efforts that will continuously remove blockers for global salesforce.
·  Help lead the timely resolution of ad hoc internal and external queries.
·  Prepare effective presentations, reports, and/or general documents for key projects.
·  Assist with the optimization of processes through ongoing analysis of relevant metrics and trends.
·  Proactively seek new ways to improve existing processes by collaborating with regional sales operations counterparts in other regions, Global Technology contacts, and other operational support teams in order to evaluate and introduce best operational practices.

 

What we need from you

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience –Demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines/processes related to the position. Preferably has work related experience in managing operational processes.

Technical Skills and Knowledge

·  Enthusiasm for analyzing business trends and performance.
·  Knowledge of hotel and/or sales operations (preferred but not mandatory).
·  Knowledge of the Company’s infrastructure and systems (preferred but not mandatory).
·  Demonstrates strong time-management skills.
·  Very strong written and verbal communication skills.
·  Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, specifically Microsoft Excel.
·  Ability to work with minimal supervision.
·  Ability to problem solve and think logically. 

ACCOUNTABILITY

Decision making responsibilities

·  This position is involved in cases of high level of complexity to ensure a well-balanced resolution on behalf of our global sales teams.
·  This position must develop and implement operational processes and procedures to assist with incentive/motivation objectives.
·  This position determines modes of communication and levels of understanding of processes, and techniques to enable effective account management that will ultimately drive top-line revenue.

CONTACTS

This position may have contact with several Global Sales teams (Operations, Target-setting, Product, Strategy), as well as other IHG-centric stakeholders that may vary per project/workstream (Marketing, Communications, Commission Services) – all of which are intended to provide operational and development support necessary for project success and fulfillment of Global Sales initiatives.

External Key Relationships

The Company’s global sales teams within all regions. Industry peers to keep informed of existing and evolving industry standards.
