This an exciting opportunity for a Graduate or Junior Front End Developer to join the studio of a leading and multiple award winning creative full service digital agency based in central London. Our client are expert in driving revenue online, email marketing, consultancy, design, database system integration and data management software providing clients with websites, apps, email, design, banners and more. This would initially be a 6 week internship with the opportunity of a permanent contract after successful completion.

The role will suit a recent graduate who is looking to pursue a career in Front End Development. You will possess a 2:1 degree or higher preferably in a related technical or creative disciple however other degrees will be consider if practical front end development experience or a strong portfolio of work can be demonstrated.

The Role:

Joining the Studio team of 15 as a Front End Email Development Intern, you’ll work across a variety of client accounts, learning our processes and the best practise values we hold when developing email.

Skills and Experience Required:

- You must have a good knowledge of email HTML already, be familiar with the idea of responsive emails and be keen to learn and work in our industry.

- A working knowledge of CSS would also be beneficial, and the ability to communicate and understand complicated client briefs is also very important.

- Above all we require someone who displays a passion and knowledge for HTML emails, who is willing to learn our way of working and grow their skills within the team, bringing measurable value to the company and our clients.

- Understanding of visual design so you can communicate comfortably with the designers.

- Good communication skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Duties & Responsibilities:

- You’ll be responsible for understanding project briefs, coding HTML emails, testing across multiple platforms and uploading to our broadcast system.

- Showing creative understanding and passion for pixel perfect HTML and CSS, you’ll produce quality work for email and web.

- Ability to juggle multiple projects and deliver client work to tight deadlines.

What you will Learn:

- Precise and accurate approach to HTML

- A strong portfolio that shows experience of front end development, with a strong focus on email development.

- Working with programmes such as Adobe Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Photoshop.

- Responsive email HTML

- Working knowledge of email best practice

Understanding of digital marketing.

This is a 6 weeks internship paying £7 per hour after which the successful candidate would receive a salary of £20-25k + full benefits package.
