Marketing Intern - Solar PV - London-based, 3-to-6-months-long paid internship, likely convertible to a permanent role

The opportunity

One of the global leaders in the solar PV market are seeking for a Marketing Intern to join them at their London office.

They provide electronics for solar power harvesting and monitoring systems, and have offices in the USA, Canada, Germany, Italy, France, Japan, China, Australia, the Netherlands, UK, and Israel.

This is a 3-months-long internship that can be extended (the maximum overall duration can be 6 months). It could also be converted into a permanent role upon successful completion.

The role

The Intern will be working closely with the Marketing Manager on the development of the company's new marketing strategy necessitated by the launch of new products.

He/She will be doing market research, communicating with clients, developing marketing materials, and participating in the formation of the new marketing strategy.

This is a role which will put the successful candidate at the forefront of the solar marketing industry.

The person

We are looking for someone with Marketing degree and/or experience, combined with knowledge of the renewable energy sector and technologies.

A graduate of any type of a Renewable Energy-oriented course who has gained marketing experience would also be a good fit for the role.

Fluency in English and strong communication skills are a must.

Essential requirements:

• Marketing/Renewable Energy-focused university degree;
• Overall grade of 2.1 or 1st;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Fluency in English;
• Proficiency in MS Office;
• Knowledge of renewable energy sector and technologies.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of another language will be a plus;
• Previous marketing experience.

Remuneration

Subsistence costs will be covered for the duration of the internship - circa GBP 1500 per month. If a permanent role is offered, a competitive remuneration package will be provided.
