Purpose of the role:
To support the business with planning and carrying out all photography studio production related tasks. Be the moving part for all different departments and the main point of contact for the studio and the business.
· Plan Weekly Photography Schedule : Coordinate the weekly photography plan using briefs and product information from various business departments, ensuring the schedule is updated daily as the primary source of information.
· Daily Contact for Studio Operations : Act as the main point of contact between the packing team, photographers, food stylists, and art directors to ensure smooth day-to-day studio operations.
· Organise Samples for Shoots : Manage the collection and delivery of Iceland own-label packaging products to the studio for photography.
· Product Handling : Physically move and lift products from the cold store and distribution centre to prepare for shoots.
· Purchase Fresh Produce : Shop for fresh produce needed for food photography shoots.
· Raise Purchase Orders (POs) : Create and manage POs in the SAP system for the photography studio and wider design studio needs.
· Order Supplier Samples : Use the OPAL ordering system to request supplier sample products, then track and locate these samples to support planning.
· Coordinate Overseas Deliveries : Communicate with overseas suppliers to organise timely deliveries of required products.
· General Shoot Administration : Handle all administrative tasks required to organise food photography shoots, ensuring everything is in place.
· Work to Daily Deadlines : Manage multiple deadlines each day to support the 2–3 active photography sets at the studio.
· Attend Planning Meetings : Participate in weekly photography planning meetings with other teams across the business to align on priorities.
· Take Marketing Briefs : Receive briefs from the Marketing Team, prioritise tasks, and schedule them accordingly.
· Allocate Studio Roles : Assign photographers, food stylists, and art directors to each set to optimise resources.
· Track Shoot Expenses : Monitor shoot-related expenses and collaborate with the finance team for accurate accounting.
· Order Supplies Online : Manage online orders for required shoot materials.
· Monitor Team Availability : Track team holidays and sickness to ensure all sets are adequately staffed.
· Ensure Image Delivery : Oversee retouching of images and ensure they are properly saved in the communal database, The Locker.
· Collaborate with Head Office Teams : Work closely with various teams across Head Office to ensure the seamless operation of the Production Studio.
