PURPOSE OF ROLE:
Implement and support the continuous review of the Iceland estate at a store and postcode specific level to maximise our customer offering while operating as efficiently as possible.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
· Implement and manage a continuous review process of store capacities and slot offering to keep our network efficient while improving sales opportunities.
· Proactively seek to reduce our zoned postcode offering through new processes or tools.
· Improve robustness within our delivered sales service to keep customer impacts to an absolute minimum.
· Store profile reviews based on later data driven evidence.
· Key databases and tools used by the online planning team kept up to date in line with latest practices.
· New systems tested and aligned with existing processes and tools
· Work collaboratively across Ecommerce, digital operations and retail to successfully implement changes
· Plan and monitor growth for future capacity planning.
· Use a model to measure and track our network capacity to inform our investment strategy and understand the operational realities.
· Manage a team of network planners to ensure we’re being creative and proactive to continually drive our delivered sales service.
KEY SKILLS
· Proficient with Microsoft Office, advanced Excel desirable.
· Strong communicator both verbally and written.
· Good attention to detail.
· Sense of urgency and pace in managing their workload.
· Proactive approach in dealing with problems and queries in a busy and fast paced environment.
· Ability to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders across the business.
QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE
· Experienced in logistical operations problem solving.
· Knowledge of online industry best practices for a logistics operation.
· Experienced in managing a team.
