We are looking to recruit a Property Assistant to join our existing Property Team.
Purpose of the role:
To provide support to the property team.
Responsibilities of the role and duties:
· Liaise with Landlords & Tenants over repair & operational issues
· Requesting business rates relief when stores closed for refit
· Additional property management tasks sharing workload from property management surveyors
· Keeping an up to date whereabouts chart for the team
· Answering phones and directing to relevant person or taking messages
· Photocopying, printing and scanning
· Opening post and pass to relevant person
· Arrange store inspections with stores when requested from LL or agent
· Car park management/administration for those owned/controlled by Iceland
· File all paperwork and keep existing files tidy
Key accountabilities
· All telephone calls are managed efficiently and professionally
· To consistently provide accurate and timely administrative support to line managers
· Maintain good relationships with external bodies, Tenants, Landlords and Local Authorities.
Technical skills
· Computer literacy; knowledge of producing and working with spreadsheets, word and knowledge of databases.
Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience
• Experience of working within the property sector is preferred but not essential
• Experience of working in a busy office environment
