Role Profile: Project Support / Finance Assistant
Location: Deeside (Office Based 5 days)
Reports To: Financial Systems Manager
Job Purpose:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Assistant to join the existing project team at Deeside. This role will be on a fixed term 12-month contract based on-site. The purpose of this role is to assist with transitioning from SAP to Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O. You will be a key member of the project team and will have exposure to the whole organisation, providing information, support, and analysis.
Qualifications:
· Experience: Previous experience in a project assistant role, preferably with experience in system implementation or project management.
Key Responsibilities:
· Data Migration: Assist in the migration of financial data from the old system to the new system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
· System Testing: Assist in testing the new finance system, identifying and reporting any issues or discrepancies.
· Training and Support: Assist in providing training and support to finance team members on the new system, including creating user guides and conducting training sessions.
· Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing and maintaining financial reports during the transition period, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
· Process Improvement: Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements within the finance function and assist in implementing changes.
· Documentation: Assist in maintaining comprehensive documentation of the new system processes and procedures.
· Compliance: Assist in ensuring all financial activities comply with relevant regulations and internal policies.
· Collaboration: Work closely with IT, finance, and project management teams to ensure successful implementation of the new system.
· Communication: Facilitate communication between project team members and stakeholders.
· Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the project team
