We are looking for a Productivity Analyst to join our Workforce Management Department where you will be a crucial part of a well-established, supportive and high-performing team.
Purpose of the role:
You will take ownership in supporting the delivery of our Programme of Works by measuring and modelling our in-store processes and maintaining the Labour Model.
You will do this by consistently:
· Gathering and analysing data to identify patterns and provide meaningful insight
· Supporting the wider team in maintaining the Labour Model
· End to end management of work measurement projects
· Identifying and documenting Retail processes
· Measuring Retail processes and productivity
· Modelling and validating the impact of the Measurement
· Identifying where Retail processes and ways of working can be changed/optimised to add value and improve productivity & efficiency
· Educating Stakeholders to ensure understanding and increase their knowledge, clearly summarising the output of your work
· Producing Labour Standards to derive a Standard Minute Value (SMV) for each process/task
· Completing Activity, Efficiency and Role work measurement studies
· Visiting our Retail stores for measurements, audits, and validation
What we are looking for:
· Experience in gathering and analysing data and being able to convey information to others in a simple and meaningful way
· Excellent computer literacy with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
· Mathematical with a focus on accuracy in managing data
· Proficient level of competency in SQL Data
· Being able to manage a work measurement project efficiently
· High degree of critical thinking to solve complex problems
· Willingness to continually learn and develop with an outstanding work ethic
· A strong attention to detail with a "doing it right" attitude
· Effective planning, being structured and organised with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
· Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
· Growth mindset with a solution focussed approach
· Resilient attitude with the ability to work in a face paced and changing environment
· Confident communicating with stakeholders at various levels within the business
· Full UK Driving License. Flexible and able to travel within the UK, as well as overnight stays when necessary
Desirable skills:
· Experience/knowledge on Retail processes
· Degree level education or proven business experience in relevant area
· Knowledge and experience of work study methodologies application
· Experience of producing engineered labour standards
· Background in Productivity, Industrial Engineering or Workforce Management
· Experience of using Lean methodologies / Six Sigma methodology
