Operational Support Planner

Job description

Job purpose:

Ensure continuous supply of goods achieving Company KPI’s and budgets

Service :

Deliver to company availability targets for all retail channels, whilst balancing associated cost for New & Refit and other exceptional activity.

Provide agreed level of service to Business to Business (3 rd party) customers.

Stock :

Management of stock in store assisting through emergency escalations, peak stock holding and stock build management

 

Overall role

·  Drive availability and service through our New, Refit, and Closure store programs
·  Create and share insightful reports that influence key decisions
·  Support B2B growth by developing smart, scalable processes
·  Optimise store settings and service levels across the business
·  Be the go-to problem solver for ad hoc requests

What we’re looking for:

·  A positive, proactive attitude with strong communication skills
·  Solid Excel and Power BI skills (bonus points for SQL!)
·  A creative problem-solver who thinks outside the box
·  A good understanding of operations and a passion for continuous improvement

 

Key responsibilities: -

·  Support the existing store support team with daily and weekly tasks.
·  Support the existing planning team with daily and weekly tasks.
·  Deliver New & Refit program with the aim of maximising availability in stores.
·  Provide ad hoc reports to Supply Chain.
·  Deliver Closure store program with the aim of ensuring a service in level with company.
·  Improve optimisation across the Iceland estate.
·  Develop processes for new B2B customers.
