PURPOSE OF ROLE:
As a Lead Salesforce Service Cloud Developer, you will work as part of our dedicated product focused Service Cloud squad to help design and deliver solutions to give the best experience to our customers.
We operate a challenging Salesforce instance, supporting a busy multi-channel contact centre and providing support tools and services to our transaction websites. You would join is at an exciting time during an exciting programme of change and re-platforming legacy systems into the Salesforce eco system. The role combines technical expertise, leadership, and business acumen
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
· Implementation of new features using the right tool and technology for the job.
· Work with Business Analysts to design and implement solutions.
· Research new technologies and provide suggestions to service technical debt and add functional improvement.
· Serve as the technical expert and team lead for Service Cloud development. Mentoring junior developers and providing guidance on best practices for coding and architecture. Ensure the team adheres to coding standards and Salesforce development guidelines.
KEY SKILLS:
· Proficiency with SalesForce Platform development skills, especially strong Apex skills.
· Lightning Web Components (LWCs) : Expertise in building modern, dynamic user interfaces.
· Salesforce APIs : Familiarity with REST, SOAP, and other APIs for system integrations.
· SOQL and SOSL : Mastery of Salesforce query languages for database interactions.
· Declarative Tools : Proficiency with Salesforce's click-based tools like Flow, Process Builder, and Validation Rules.
· Apex Programming : Strong understanding of Salesforce’s programming language for back-end development.
