We are looking for an Export Co-ordinator to work within the Buying Department at our Head Offices in Deeside
Overall Purpose:
To facilitate the coordinating & administration of the certification requirements associated with the export of products requiring Export Health Certificates out of the UK to ROI, EU and 3rd countries.
Plays an active part in the delivery of Export Certification processes through the contact and follow-up activities with the supplier base to obtain the relevant documentation for completion of the Export Certificates.
Giving the provision of clear information to the Export Compliance Manager & Supply chain teams on status and schedule of certification to facilitate the correct stakeholder management internally, and to be able to pull together the right information at the right time.
Key Accountabilities
Coordination of Certification Processes.
Gathering the required information from internal stakeholders and relevant manufacturers/suppliers to obtain the required export certification information.
Efficient communication and follow-up with the supplier base to deliver the required documentation (examples include attestations/slaughter approval numbers/import certificates/processing confirmation etc) on time and in full.
Providing regular status updates around certification processes to the Export Compliance Manager to enable coordination and management of all of the required processes and stakeholders.
Assistance of the Export Compliance Manager with direct liaison with the Official Vet or Department Officials to ensure certification happens to schedule.
Qualifications/Knowledge/Experience:
Relevant experience/qualification(s) in a related area
Great personal skills
Able to deliver high volume of work accurately at speed
Strong Initiative with proactive and collaborative ways of working
Personable and able to build strong relationships and collaborate with all stakeholders and suppliers
Able to multitask and prioritise effectively
Agile and open minded in approach
Works well under pressure and to tight deadlines
Proficient use of IT equipment and online portals
