Your Role
As Category Supply Manager, you’ll lead the supply chain across your categories - from supplier inbound, through our depots, right into stores and online. You’ll be at the centre of ensuring our products arrive in the right place, at the right time and in the right quantities.
This is a broad, strategic role where you’ll balance long‑term planning with day‑to‑day operational grip. You’ll use insight and judgement to optimise stock, minimise waste and keep the operation running smoothly - especially during promotions and seasonal peaks.
You’ll also play a key role in shaping and embedding improved ways of working as we roll out a new Forecasting & Replenishment (F&R) system . And just as importantly, you’ll grow and support your team - building capability, setting clear direction and helping them thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
This is a role for someone who can think strategically, lead people and translate plans into execution across a complex food FMCG supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead end‑to‑end supply for your category, delivering availability targets across all retail channels from supplier inbound to depot through to store execution, including promotions and peak seasonal events.
· Own stock flow, forecasting and supplier performance, using data and insight to optimise availability, stockholding, waste and cost.
· Drive the category supply strategy, working cross‑functionally with Commercial, Depots, Stores, Suppliers and 3PL partners to deliver performance at pace.
· Lead, engage and develop a high‑performing team , building capability, managing performance and developing future talent.
· Play a key role in embedding a new Forecasting & Replenishment system , shaping improved, data‑led ways of working.
· Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to protect continuity of supply and customer availability.
· Manage stock and waste within agreed budgets, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce cost across depots and stores.
· Work collaboratively with peers to drive engagement, continuous improvement and a strong team culture.
What we're looking for
We’re looking for a people‑focused supply chain leader with broad end‑to‑end supply experience , ideally within food or FMCG , though we’ll consider strong candidates from other fast‑paced retail or consumer environments.
You’ll bring:
· Proven experience leading and developing teams within supply chain, planning or category supply.
· Demonstrated end‑to‑end supply ownership , including inbound supply into depot and the onward flow of stock through the network to stores.
· Experience managing store‑facing supply , including availability, stock flow, promotional execution and seasonal peaks.
· A track record of working cross‑functionally with suppliers, depots, stores and third‑party logistics partners.
· A strategic, data‑led mindset with strong operational grip, balancing availability, stock, cost and waste.
· Confidence leading through change and embedding improved systems or ways of working.

You’ll join a positive, collaborative team where people support each other, share ideas and get things done. There’s genuine opportunity to develop and progress, all within a family‑feel culture where you’re trusted, valued and encouraged to make a real impact.
