Assistant Commercial Accountant

  Purpose of the role

 To support the Commercial Finance Business Partner, with a specific focus on ensuring that controls over Commercial Income are robust.

In this role you can expect to:

·  Deliver reporting to key stakeholders which is concise, accurate, timely and supports decision making.
·  Support the Commercial Finance Business Partner with performance reporting in relation to our Rapid Delivery channel .
·  Produce weekly pricing reporting for our Rapid Delivery channel, ensuring this is accurate and timely .
·  Focus on financial control in relation to Commercial Income – helping ensure reporting is up to date, sign-off procedures have been followed, income is invoiced timely and position versus budget is understood by all stakeholders .
·  Manage weekly funding forecasts, calculations and reporting – ensuring the correct numbers are included in weekly margin.
·  Support working capital initiatives with cashflow forecasting of Commercial Income .
·  Perform end-to-end profitability reviews over Media Activity.

My Team:

·  Work collaboratively with the team and stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.
·  Build relationships across the broader Finance team, ensuring that we are aligned with key stakeholders.
·  Be a key part of the Commercial Finance team, displaying strong teamworking attributes and helping the team operate efficiently.
·  Build strong working relationships with key Trading stakeholders.

You should apply if:

•    You are studying ACA, ACCA or CIMA. 
•    You have advanced Excel skills 
•    You have the ability to communicate in a clear and engaging way.
