Backend Developer - Systems Developer

Job description

CSL(China Systems Lab) team is seeking for talents who are self-driven, innovative and passionate for new technologies to join us, to be part of a highly skilled, results oriented agile team working with industry leaders in developing the next generation tools platform for the mainframe that powers over 90% of top 100 banks globally and used by over 90% of all Fortune 500 companies today.
As a Backend Developer, your responsibility is to:
·  Follow Software Development process regarding all related activities including Design, Code, Implementation, Unit Test, Function Test and Documentation
·  Implement high and low level designs Code and implement specific components with full ownership
·  Ensure that the implemented components are unit tested and ready to be integrated into the product
·  Create and execute automated function test cases to validate function being delivered
·  Provide fixes to defects identified by the verification team during the software development life cycle
·  Identify and implement product requirements & improvements.
Required Professional and Technical Expertise:
·  Solid background in computer science
·  At least 3 – 5 years of experience with Java, C, C++, JavaScript, and/or Python
·  Familiar with source code management tools such as Github, RTC
·  Comfortable using multiple operating systems such as Linux, Windows, Mac OS X, etc
·  Familiar with IT operations data, using statistical analysis techniques to analyze large amounts of data looking for patterns to identify relationships in the data
·  Develop applications using the (ELK) Elastic, LogStash and Kibana stack, visualize IT operations insights
·  Fluent in English and strong communication skills
·  Awareness of the zSeries/Operating System (z/OS).
·  A self-starter & ability to work effectively in a team environment
·  Ability to focus on delivering results in a dynamic environment with aggressive deadlines and multiple priorities
Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise:
·  z/OS software design and development experience
·  Familiar with the automation and optimization of processes, using tools like Jenkins, Maven, Ant, Gradle, Chef, Puppet, Docker, and/or UrbanCode Deploy
·  Experience with z/OS subsystems (such as CICS, IMS, DB2).
·  Working knowledge of backend/server-side technologies
