Planning & Reporting Analyst

Job description

Hyundai MOBIS, an affiliate of the Hyundai Motor Group & provider of Aftermarket Parts and Accessories to Franchised Kia & Hyundai Dealers/Distributors, have an exciting opportunity to join their Strategic Planning Team. Our growing business requires a Planning and reporting analyst to provide sales and data analyis, data consolidation and project-support. You will use appropriate IT tools to analyse data and produce meaningful reports, ensuring accuracy & driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities & duties

• Provide business intelligence and supporting data analysis to enable management to make informed decisions
• Track, report, monitor and forecast sales trends based on internal and external factors in order to justify possible future and justify previous effects
• Coagulate data from various sources into meaningful business information
• Produce, report and present regular and adhoc reports, with communication to all stakeholders within agreed deadlines
• Support Accessory Team with analysis, reporting and management data
• Attend relevant meetings as required to take minutes and provide a record of agreed actions
• Ensure that electronic filing of all reports and correspondance is maintained
• Successful completion of daily and adhoc tasks and reporting as specified by Management

Academic & trades qualifications

• Degree Qualified in a Numeric or Business Discipline

Personal qualities & behavioural traits

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with both internal and external stakeholders
• IT literacy particularly advanced level Microsoft Excel with ability to analyse data
• Strong organisation and time management skills with ability to meet tight deadlines
• Takes a 'hands-on’ dedicated and flexible approach with self-starting ability
• Ability to manage large amounts of data
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Interest in the automotive industry

• All MPE-UK departments, European Branches and Mobis HQ
• Hyundai/ Kia partners as required
• External companies, consultants etc. as required
• 3PL partners

Reporting to: Strategic Planning & Accessory Manager

Salary: Competitve plus benefits (pension/ lunch allowance/ private healthcare/ life assurance/ ECS)

Hours: Full Time; 37.5hrs per week
