Inventory Specialist & Analyst

Job description

Hyundai MOBIS, an affiliate of the Hyundai Motor Group & provider of Aftermarket Parts and Accessories to Franchised Kia & Hyundai Dealers/Distributors, have an exciting opportunity to join their Operations Team. Our growing business requires a Inventory Specialist & Analyst to analyse and review stocking levels, replenishment and expedition of supply to ensure availability for Customer demand. You will use appropriate IT tools to deliver an efficient system based process, ensuring accuracy & driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities & duties

• Demand planning & forecasting
• Replenishment purchase order scheduling
• Back order expediting with product lines sourced from Korea

Academic & trades qualifications

• Degree Qualified in a Numeric, Business or Supply Chain Discipline
• CIPS desirable

Personal qualities & behavioural traits

• Excellent communication and coordination, with both internal and external stakeholders
• IT literacy particularly with Microsoft Office packages
• Understanding of Supply Chain Principles
• Strong organisation and time management skills
• Takes a 'hands-on’ approach with self-starting ability
• Experience in demand forecasting and planning from sources with long lead times
• Understanding of process for new product information
• Ability to work as part of a team

Relationships

• All MPE-UK departments, other European Branches and MOBIS Korea
• External companies, consultants etc. as required
• 3PL partners

Reporting to: Inventory Team Leader

Salary: Competitive plus benefits (pension/ lunch allowance/ private healthcare/ life assurance/ ECS)

Hours: Full Time; 37.5hrs per week

Location: Dordon, Tamworth (B78)
