Leveraged Loan Syndictions supports UniCredit’s private equity clients and their portfolio companies by structuring and distributing financing transactions for leveraged buy-outs, refinancings, dividend payments, repricings, and amendments.
Loan Syndication is a global product unit at the core of UniCredit’s corporate finance business within the Corporate & Investment Bank. The unit, with offices in Munich, London, Milan, Rome, Vienna, and Luxembourg, takes responsibility for the entire life cycle of syndicated loans from origination, pricing, arranging, underwriting and syndication to agency tasks and repayment.
UniCredit is a leading arranger and bookrunner for European sponsor-driven leveraged buy-outs and her consistently been the market leader in the German LBO market.
Your Tasks in our teamWorking autonomously in a small team in Munich with individual responsibilities and varying challenging tasks such as:
- Preparation of pitching material for winning mandates as well as further presentations for internal and external purposes
- Communication, where applicable, with colleagues from UniCredit’s various leveraged finance origination units, representatives from other banks, lawyers & sponsors
- Where applicable, review and analysis of due diligence material, including international loan documentation
- Conduct market researches
Assistance in our reporting requirements, and
- Support in the syndication process of leveraged finance transactions
With the aim of gaining hands-on experience by accompanying the syndication process for leveraged buy-outs during various stages of the lifecycle
- Preferably student of business administration, economics or law
- Strong proficiency in oral and written English and German, further language skills are a plus
- Strong level of assertiveness combined with a willingness to communicate
- Good analytical skills
- Motivated and ability to work under time pressure
- Desire to delve into one of the most sophisticated and fast moving fields in corporate finance
- Team player
- Strong interest in market developments, and
- Experienced in MS Office products
