Ajilon has an exciting opportunity for a Java Developer/Tibco Developer/Analyst Programmer to join us as an Ajilon Consultant based in Nottingham. The engagement shall be a permanent offering.

TRAINING PROVIDED

ABOUT THE CLIENT

SKILLS
*Minimum of 6 months/1 years' experience in industry role i.e. java developer, software developer etc or a role where you utilise knowledge of java
*Familiar with standard concepts, practises, and procedures within a particular field
*Relies on limited experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals
*A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
*Analyses, designs and implements programs
*Identifies and resolves testing issues
*Assesses the health and performance of applications
*Interaction with product management and consultancy teams
*Design and documentation in collaboration with the rest of the team
*Good understanding of large corporate/matrix organisation processes and procedures
*Programming experience developing solutions that are secure, robust and scalable
*Experience with high volume transactional systems
*Experience with distributed system architecture and designs
*Experience of Software Development Lifecycle
*Knowledge of Java 5, J2EE, JSP, CSS, (X)HTML, XML, XMLST is preferable
*Able to present information, ideas and perspective to peers, team members and managers and responds to questions
*Speaks effectively one-on-one and in small group situations
*Reads and analyses technology journals and interprets documents, such as technical reports and instructions
*Follows documentation requirements
*Collaborates and communicates effectively in team environment, contributing to team's results
*Accepts direction, listens to and considers others' ideas/concerns
*Develops and maintains good working relationships with internal and external contacts
*Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering/IT or equivalent education is preferable
*Knowledge of Tibco is a plus however not essential
JOB ROLE:
There are 2 types of roles available - Java Developer and Tibco Developer - both need a good knowledge of java, the tibco needs candidates to have a willingness to learn.
This role is part of a team developing a new database and retrieval platform within the Business Information portfolio.
*Designs, modifies, develops, writes, tests and implements software programming applications.
*Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software
