Key Responsibilities

The Waiter / Waitress is responsible for delivering exceptional service to guests and supporting the daily operations of Sofia Bar. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Welcoming guests with a smile , creating a warm and professional first impression
· Providing attentive, friendly, and personalized service , making guests feel valued at all times
· Taking food and beverage orders accurately , accommodating special requests, and offering informed recommendations
· Serving food and beverages in accordance with service standards and presentation guidelines
· Maintaining a clean and organized environment , including clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables promptly
· Ensuring assigned stations, tables, and side stands are well‑stocked, neat, and ready for service
· Demonstrating strong menu knowledge , including daily specials and promotions, and operating the P.O.S. system efficiently
· Handling payments accurately and completing end‑of‑shift procedures when required
· Supporting opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned by management
· Working collaboratively with colleagues and management to ensure smooth operations and consistent service quality
· Adapting to guest needs and operational demands with a flexible and positive attitude

Qualifications & Requirements

·  Previous experience in a similar waiter/waitress or bar service role is highly desirable
·  A positive, service‑oriented personality with a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction
·  Strong communication skills , with the ability to listen, understand, and respond effectively to guest and team needs
·  Fluency in Spanish and English is required ; additional languages are a strong plus
·  A team‑player mindset , attentive, helpful, and respectful toward guests and colleagues
·  Professional appearance and adherence to Hyatt grooming and uniform standards
·  Dependable attendance and flexibility to work rotative shifts , including afternoons, evenings, and nights
·  Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced bar environment while maintaining attention to detail
