The Role:
As the Stewarding – Team Leader, you will play a key role in our operations supporting both the Culinary and Food & Beverage departments. You will ensure all equipment and food areas are clean, hygienic and safe in accordance with HACCP and Hotel standards. Demonstrating pride in your work, you will assist the Chief Steward & Operations Manager – Stewarding to supervisor and oversee the department.

Duties & Responsibilities Include:

· Supervising and overseeing the general cleaning duties
· Supervising the cleaning and washing of all dishes and equipment in accordance with standard
· Following standard operating procedures as established by management
· Conducting inventory checks on all operating equipment and supplies
· Maintaining accurate breakage records
· Safe practice and the monitoring of chemical usage

Our Ideal Candidate will possess:

· Knowledge of HACCP
· Previous experience in a similar role with the skills to work in a high volume environments
· A hands-on leadership approach
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Availability to work 38 hours per week
· Availability to work a 7 day rotating roster
· Full valid Australian working rights
