About the role

In this hybrid role of Reservations Agent / Guest Services Officer, you will be responsible for managing guest reservations while also delivering exceptional arrival and departure experiences. Reporting to the Assistant Front Office Manager, you will enjoy an inclusive working environment within a dynamic team that extends beyond the realms of Front Office.

Main Responsibilities

· Receive, capture and process room reservation requests across all channels, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the reservation system
· Monitor room inventory and support revenue optimisation strategies
· Actively upsell rooms and hotel services during guest interactions
· Apply established Revenue Management strategies and tactics
· Personally ensure guests receive exceptional service during arrival and departure
· Verify reservation details, including arrivals and departures, and coordinate luggage handling, transportation and other guest requests
· Handle cashiering functions accurately and in accordance with hotel procedures
· Maintain a strong knowledge of the local area, including attractions, restaurants, and shopping
· Work closely with Front Office and other hotel departments in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on overall guest satisfaction and hotel success

Desired profile

Qualifications :

· 
Good Computer Skills particularly in the use of MS Office.

· 
Ability to work under pressure

· 
Positive, can-do attitude

· 
Diploma/certificate in Hospitality or Tourism Management is desirable

· 
Knowledge of Opera Cloud is desirable

· 
Preferable prerequisite knowledge of the Travel/Hotel industry
