Maintenance Technician

Job description

Hyatt Centric Murano Venice is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician with at least 2 years of experience in the hotel industry . The role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day maintenance operations to ensure all hotel facilities, equipment, and systems are functioning efficiently and safely.

Main Duties

· Carry out routine maintenance and repair works in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
· Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to the established schedule.
· Inspect equipment and systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire & life safety) to ensure proper operation.
· Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently.
· Assist in identifying and reporting technical faults and safety hazards.
· Ensure compliance with health, safety, and local regulatory standards.
· Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
· Support inventory control of materials and spare parts.
· Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations and guest satisfaction.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

·  Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a hotel environment .
·  Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
·  Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on approach.
·  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
·  Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends if required.
