About the Role:
Hyatt Regency Sydney is looking for a new Junior Sous Chef to join our team. You will be reporting to the Executive Chef and working closely to ensure the efficient management and leadership of the pastry kitchen operations.
Main Responsibilities:
· Motivate and supervise the culinary team during daily operations
· Ensuring all standards and procedures are met resulting in consistency, quality and profitability
· Ensure the efficient operations on the kitchen in the Executive Chef's absence
· To foster an open and supportive working environment for the team
Our Expectations:
· Experience in a similar operational size
· Full Time commitment of 38-45 hours per week
· Ability to work a 7 day rotating roster
· Excellent understanding of HACCP and food safety
· Experience in managing a team
